		<description>i have this disease. starch has something to do with it. i get hemorhoids if eat pizza or potatoes or anything like that. could that be so easy explanation that the bacteria get into blood, i have noticed that very often when i pooh there is blood in the tissue, especially if i eat potatos etc.</description>

Some people with AS have been on Enbrel for example more than a decade, combined with their own version/convenient modification of starch-restrictive diet.  When eating less starch they take less drug and it has not lost efficacy even without MTX.

Better option (for some):  Antibiotics!</description>
