I just started with the Ulcerative Colitis in this pregnancy. I am 25 weeks (almost 26) and I have noticed that I wake up at 4 am and can be awake for 6 hours with cramping, and diarrhea. If it gets severe I would talk to your doctor because of the fact that you can come very dehydrated. I would also go if you notice a lot of blood in the toilet. Pregnancy can cause the flare up but it may not. I have taken some mylanta and that seems to work. I would also stay away from milk and anything that makes it worse like greasy foods.

Good Luck and I hope this is a better pregnancy that stuff can be painful.
